A Magical Trip to Dunsborough and Yallingup

The South West region of Australia remains one of my favourite place in Australia. There are so many things to do and see that the struggle is to fit it all in! From sunrises to sunsets, from walking to mountain biking, to visit wineries or local breweries…Your options are never ending! It’s the perfect place for photographers as it offers the opportunity to shoot dramatic landscapes! So come with me on a trip to Dunsborough and Yallingup this time!

The issue when taking photos while on holidays is I always picture something great in my mind but the end result always greatly differ…First, the weather can be very unpredictable. Secondly, I planned on getting to places I have never been and which are hard to find and sometimes I had to give up or change compositions. Thirdly, I only have one attempt as I was moving to a different place everyday.

However, this being said, I had a fantastic time in the Dunsborough area, retreating from the hustle and bustle of the city and finding myself walking very early in the morning on a windless day, surrounded by spending fairy wrens, smelling the sent of the ocean and enjoying every single moment. We were lucky during our time at the Cape Naturaliste and were blessed by a calm morning and no wind. It was great to be able to hear the ocean and the splendid Fairy Wrens.

There are many walktrails available and you can check out Trails WA website for more info on the local trails.
